2015 Pan Pacific Veterinary Conference

This abattoir processes approximately 3500 cattle per day including cull dairy cows, bulls, grain fed, MSA and EUCAS cattle sourced from Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and Northern Territory. These variations in stock types gave a large array of post-mortem pathological findings. Some samples were sent to the lab for diagnosis and facilitate dispositions. Photos, lab results and literature review of some cases are presented. Some of the samples include mesothelioma, eosinophilic myositis, aortic body carcinoma, neurofibromas and adenocarcinomas, etc.
